Job Summary

The Engineering Manager leads the engineering team, overseeing project execution, resource management, and compliance with quality and safety standards. This role is vital in optimising team performance, evaluating engineering processes, and driving product development.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Team Leadership: Supervise workload, motivate team members, and manage absences.
    • Software Management: Oversee engineering software processes and data management.
    • Technical Support: Evaluate and optimise engineering products and systems.
    • Maintenance Coordination: Ensure equipment operation through effective maintenance management.
    • Compliance Assurance: Uphold safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
    • Reporting: Develop and analyse engineering reports and trends.

Key Skills & Experience:

    • Education: HNC in Engineering or equivalent, knowledge of electrical installation requirements.
    • Experience: 5+ years in engineering management and familiarity with Siemens, CMMS and CAD software.
    • Leadership: Strong man-management and team motivation skills.
    • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
    • Organisation: Proficient in project management and problem-solving.
