Freelance Site Agent - Onshore Wind Farm Project

We are seeking a freelance Site Agent to join a major onshore wind farm development in Scotland. This is a short‑term contract opportunity starting in January 2026, supporting delivery during a critical phase of works. There is a 12 month contract on offer.

Role Overview

The Site Agent will focus on documentation, quality assurance, and supporting the design lead. Inductions will be managed separately, allowing this role to concentrate on paperwork, RAMS compliance, and maintaining programme certainty.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Overseeing quality and documentation processes across site activities
  • Supporting design leadership and coordinating with the project team
  • Managing RAMS compliance and ensuring HSQE standards are upheld
  • Liaising with subcontractors and consultants to resolve constraints and maintain progress
  • Chairing meetings and sequencing works to align with programme requirements
Requirements
  • SMSTS certification
  • CSCS card
  • First Aid qualification
  • Strong background in civil engineering or renewable energy projects
  • Ability to manage paperwork, quality processes, and statutory compliance effectively
  • Experience working with subcontractors and consultants in a site‑based role
Contract Details
  • Freelance position, approximately 12 month duration
  • 10‑hour days, Monday to Friday
  • Accommodation arranged by candidates and will be added to the day rate if not local to the project.
  • CIS engagement preferred; limited company arrangements considered case‑by‑case
