Our client is a very successful Highways Contractor who is currently recruiting a Highways Site Agent.

As Highways Site Agent you would have :

• SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• Civil Engineering or related Qualification
• Atleast 5 years experience working on Highways projects

As a Highways Site Agent your job will include :

Supporting the Project Manager with day-to-day planning, coordination and management of construction activities on the A382 scheme.

Planning upcoming phases of work, including taking the collaboratively developed Spring 2026 plan and turning it into a deliverable on-site programme.

Maintaining high SHEQ standards, ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with M Group and industry requirements.

Understanding and working to the design, schedule and budget, ensuring the works progress as planned.

Managing on-site teams, including directing a Sub Agent and overseeing subcontractors to make sure operations run smoothly.

Coordinating Statutory Undertakers (utility companies and their contractors) for all diversion or protection works.

Stakeholder liaison, acting as the main point of contact for affected residents, businesses, and other parties, ensuring they are informed and their queries are handled promptly.
