Sister/ Charge Nurse – Band 6 – 32.25 hours per week
The Integrated Assessment Unit at Tameside General Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic experienced Band 5 or current Band 6 to join our team as a Sister/Charge Nurse.
We seek an individual who is efficient, enthusiastic, highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work within Urgent Care. A calm, diplomatic and caring approach and a commitment to provide high quality, safe and effective care is essential. You will be joining our friendly and dynamic multidisciplinary team with excellent standards and great work ethic.
The post holder is responsible for the assessment of patient care needs, ensuring patient flow, implementing programmes of change and generally support the Unit Manager in the effective running of the Unit.
As a Sister / Charge Nurse you will provide daily clinical and managerial leadership to nursing and support staff in the delivery of evidence based practice. You will be an aspiring leader with the ability to adopt a highly accessible and visible approach for patients, relatives and colleagues.
You will have the ability to develop a culture of continuous improvement with a particular emphasis on the patient journey and clinical outcomes.
