Shift Technician / Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Location: Leicester
Shifts: Continental shift pattern (12-hour shifts - days & nights)
Salary: £54,000 + Shift allowance + Quarterly Incentive
Contract: Permanent

The Role
  • Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment
  • Diagnose faults and support root cause analysis to improve plant reliability
  • Support autonomous maintenance teams through coaching and technical guidance
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and to quality standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, 5S, and reliability initiatives
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering or time-served apprenticeship
  • Electrical or electro‑mechanical background
  • Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment preferred
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work continental shifts, including nights and weekends
