A well established commercial vehicle workshop in Witham is seeking an HGV Shift Supervisor to join their team. This hands-on role is perfect for a senior HGV Technician looking to advance or an existing Supervisor seeking a stable long-term position. Key duties include supervising HGV Technicians, managing workflow, and ensuring safety standards. Candidates must have relevant motor vehicle qualifications and an HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence. About the role

Phoenix Solutions and Consulting are supporting a well established commercial vehicle workshop in Witham who are looking to add an HGV Shift Supervisor to their team.

This is a hands on, semi productive role, ideal for a senior HGV Technician ready to step up, or an existing Supervisor looking for a stable long term position.

Responsibilities

• Supervising a shift of HGV Technicians
• Issuing work and providing technical support
• MOT preparation, servicing, diagnostics and repairs
• Managing workflow and productivity
• Maintaining high quality and safety standards
• Dealing with customers professionally
• Ensuring good housekeeping and health and safety compliance

What we are looking for

• Experience as an HGV or Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Up to date technical knowledge
• Supervisory or senior technician experience preferred
• Relevant motor vehicle qualification
• Confident communicator with leadership ability
• HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence essential

Hours

42.5 hours per week

Early shift Monday to Friday 6.00am to 3.00pm

Late shift Monday to Friday 2.00pm to 11.00pm

Alternate Saturday mornings paid at time and a half
