Shift Maintenance Engineer – Continental Shift – Commercial Building – Battersea, South West London – up to £41,000 Per annum

My client is looking for an Electrical or Mechanical Shift Engineer to be based in a commercial building in Battersea, South West London. A successful candidate will be electrically or mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ). Working with the maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance across a tenant contract, working as part of a three-man shift team. In return, the company offers a competitive salary of up to £41,000, further training and career progression.

Hours of work

Continental Shift - 4 nights, 4 off, 3 days, 3 nights, 6 off, 4 days - 07:00am - 19:00pm / 19:00pm - 07:00am

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests & Fire alarm tests
• Plant room maintenance
• Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Control Panels
• Changing Ballast
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
• Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
• Maintain and update Log books
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors

Requirements

• Electrically qualified or mechanically City & Guilds Level 2
• Have a hard-working attitude
• Willingness to learn
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Good communication skills
