Job Summary

Title: Retail Shift Leader, Location: Basildon. Salary up to £30,700 plus £290 per month car allowance. Full time permanent.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for managing teams of stock counters across multiple client sites.
• Deliver end‑to‑end stock taking service with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure correct procedures and processes are followed on all sites.
• Deliver exceptional customer service standards at all times.
• Conduct accurate stock counts within the given time frame.
• Monitor team productivity and implement improvements where possible.
• Travel to a different client site each day and be willing to work unsociable hours, including early mornings, nights, and early weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills with all levels of personnel.
• Basic IT skills.
• Ability to remain focused under pressure.
• Excellent time‑management and ability to work independently.
• Willingness and ability to travel.
• Minimum age 18 years (cannot accept under 18).

Working Hours and Shift Pattern
