Overview

Experienced Sheet Metal Worker - TIG Welder — Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire. We are looking for experienced sheet metal workers with strong TIG welding skills to join a growing engineering company that designs, manufactures, and installs bespoke conveyor systems, primarily for the food and beverage industry.

Key Responsibilities

• TIG welding on high-quality sheet metal components
• Working mainly from the client's Halifax base, with occasional travel to client sites
• Maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment
• Structural steel - Using Stainless Steel and Mild Steel
• Read and understand engineering drawings

Requirements

• Proven experience in TIG welding and sheet metal work
• Full, clean driving license

Essential Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years' experience working within a TIG Welding role
• Structural experience
• Excellent communication skills

Working Hours

Mon-Thurs: 7:30am-4:00pm
Fri: 7:30am-13:00pm

Salary & Benefits

£16.00 per hour (reviewed following initial period)
Overtime rates
28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
