Job description

We're looking for a passionate and proactive SHE Manager to lead our Kirkham site's Health, Safety, and Environmental strategy. Sitting on the site's Leadership Team, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering a strong culture of compliance and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance and drive continual improvement in all aspects of our Health, Safety and Environmental Management reporting processes.
  • Support and coach the site's leadership team to reduce workplace accidents, Near Misses, and Dangerous occurrences.
  • Oversee the site's SHE KPI databases for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting purposes.
  • Be the site's point of contact for all SHE regulatory audits and visits.
  • Ensure all site assessments, priority action trackers, and statutory inspections are completed.
  • Ensure the site's Behavioral Safety and Workplace Culture Transformation initiatives are delivered.
  • Create and deliver a robust accident reduction plan supported by the site's leadership team.
Qualifications
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification required – or working towards.
  • Environmental qualification – or evidence working towards.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
  • Experience within an FMCG environment and knowledge of audits.
  • Proven experience providing coaching to all levels of employees.
