Manpower is currently seeking an interim SHE Capabilities Specialist - Digital to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple. This role offers the opportunity to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment. The position is fully remote with occasional travel to Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. It is a full-time temporary role until the end of October 2026, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation is competitive, up to £48,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience. Flexibility with working hours may be required to accommodate different time zones.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be a member of the SHE capability expertise team Zero Harm to People, focusing on Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Contractor and Construction Safety. They will own the delivery of digital projects, solutions, and products within scope, enhancing capability and fostering a strong SHE culture on sites and within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership: Manage digital projects, solutions, and products; act as the subject matter expert; monitor progress; understand system interactions; implement systems; and manage interactions.
  • Leadership: Ensure timely delivery; coordinate training and support; guide SMEs; promote safe behaviors; foster a learning environment.
  • Strategy: Support development of digital strategy and architecture; conduct needs assessments; evaluate tool effectiveness through feedback and success measures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Address issues; recommend improvements; ensure solutions are user-friendly and up to date; stay informed on new technologies.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate within the SHE team and with other functions; build relationships to ensure smooth solution operation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, finance, engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience in SHE, engineering, or IT.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time.
  • Experience in multicultural environments.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in SHE management systems and tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and with site personnel.
  • Safety training certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are a plus.
