A local government authority is seeking a Benefits Specialist Officer to join their high-performing Benefits Team. The role involves processing Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support claims, managing caseloads, and resolving complex queries. We have an exciting opportunity to join our high performing Benefits Team at East Staffordshire Borough Council. As we prepare for the imminent launch of a new integrated Revenues & Benefits system, we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated professional to play a key role in delivering high quality Benefits services to our residents.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience in Benefits administration who are looking to further develop their career and contribute to the delivery of a modern, efficient and customer‑focused service. Prior knowledge of the Civica Revenues & Benefits system would also be an advantage but not essential.
