Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Business Analyst to join their team in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in ITSM, ITOM, or ITAM processes and will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical stories. Strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with virtual teams are essential. Candidates with relevant ServiceNow certifications are highly desirable. This role includes participation in Agile ceremonies and requires exceptional communication skills.

Job description
Role Responsibilities
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert across multiple ServiceNow domains, including ITSM processes, CMDB, ITOM, and ITAM, providing guidance and support to development teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Teams, customers, and key stakeholders to identify business and functional solutions.
  • Analyze incoming demand requests, translating high-level requirements into actionable technical stories for the backlog.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Show & Tell sessions, and Retrospectives.
  • Contribute to the organization’s strategic objectives and foster a high-performance team culture.
  • Take ownership of defect analysis and resolution, working closely with developers and architects to ensure timely closure.
Skills & Experience
  • Extensive experience as a ServiceNow Business Analyst within a fast-paced IT environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow products in one or more areas :
  • ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration, Service Request),
  • ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping), or
  • ITAM (Software Asset Management, Hardware Asset Management).
  • Relevant ServiceNow certifications in these domains are highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to translate complex, high-level business requirements into detailed technical stories, engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Hands-on experience working within a Scaled Agile framework.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with virtual teams across multiple location
