We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Team Manager to lead our Community Team!

We are recruiting a knowledgeable and compassionate Service Team Manager to lead our Community Team at the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead. This important role is central to delivering our Social Care Futures vision and ensuring that older people and adults with physical disabilities are supported to live independently, safely, and meaningfully.

This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a salary of £53,296 - £58,286 per annum.

Responsibilities

As Service Team Manager for the Community Team, you will lead a borough-wide service supporting older people and adults with physical disabilities. You will:

  • Champion strengths-based and person-centred practice.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, responsive, and outcome-focused support.
  • Manage complex casework including Court of Protection matters.
  • Work collaboratively across health, housing, and voluntary sectors.
  • Promote prevention, choice, and community connection.
  • Contribute to RBWM’s strategic priorities: building inclusive, healthy communities, delivering compassionate, high-quality services, and reducing health inequalities.
