About RNID

We are RNID: the national charity supporting the 18 million people in the UK who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus. Together, we will end the discrimination faced by our communities, help people hear better now and fund world-class research to restore hearing and silence tinnitus.

We work with our communities and partners across industry, government, charity, education and more to change life for the better. RNID has a proud history and big ambitions. We also know the value of a friendly face in local communities to support people where they need it most.

Join our team

We’re hiring for two opportunities in our team — one supporting our work in Scotland and the other in South & Central England. Roles are remote, but we welcome applicants from across the UK who are passionate about making a difference in these regions.

We are a remote-working organisation with colleagues across the UK. We come together in person two or three times a year for Staff Summits, and we offer a sector-leading flexible working policy from day one. Our values are at the heart of how we work: connected, insightful, curious and passionate.

You will have responsibility for the successful management and delivery of these services across your area.

You will:

  • Manage your service hubs to ensure high quality, standardised delivery of RNID Near You, meeting performance and KPI targets and delivering within budget with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Support your team through positive and encouraging line management to deliver RNID Near You to the highest standards.
  • Work with the Community Services Development Team to record and collate KPI information, ensuring services meet targets and taking action to remedy poor performance where needed.
  • Liaise with key partners and stakeholders to deliver mutual satisfaction of performance and ensure long-term funding of our services.
  • Complete regular reports for the organisation and service funding commissioners.
