A community support organization is seeking a Service Manager to lead and manage the operations for services supporting individuals with learning disabilities. This full-time role involves ensuring high-quality, person-centred support, managing a team, and contributing to the development of the service. The ideal candidate will have a Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care and relevant experience in social care. The position offers a salary of £32,669 per annum plus benefits.

We are dedicated to supporting those with learning disabilities to live a fulfilled and enriched life in the community. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the support service as well as proactively engaging with the continued development of the service. You will provide motivational leadership and direction to your team, enabling them to provide quality, person-centred support to the people we support. You will enjoy building positive relationships with all stakeholders and put our vision and values into action.
You'll carry out frequent reviews of the support requirements provided, including service delivery plans, support plans, progress log and risk assessments following the principles and practices of person-centred and relationship-centred Active Support. You will manage a team of support workers with responsibility for all aspects of team management and development as well as encouraging and coaching them to creatively problem solve and develop.
Above all else your focus will be on achieving the highest levels of support and independence for the people we support to make everyday remarkable.
