Join a leading machinery service provider as a Field Service Engineer - UK

A leading machinery service provider is looking to appoint an experienced Field Service Engineer to support clients across the UK. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, machinery repairs, installations, and delivering high‑quality technical support to ensure client satisfaction and equipment reliability.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Attending pre‑booked service appointments and machine breakdowns
  • Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults and recommending appropriate repairs
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, including oil and filter changes, calibration, and alignment
  • Installing, commissioning, decommissioning, and removing machinery (new and used)
  • Setting up tooling and blades on various types of machinery
  • Providing training and operational support to customers on equipment use and safety procedures
  • Completing service reports, inspection forms, and time‑sheets accurately and on time
  • Liaising regularly with the Service Coordination Team regarding job status and follow‑up requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic ability in Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical systems and a customer‑first attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as previous experience within a machinery field service role and familiarity with industrial or manufacturing equipment.
