Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Service Designer to join a high-profile government project. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to design and improve end-to-end services that meet user needs and align with GDS standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver user-centred services across complex government systems.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct research and map user journeys to identify pain points and opportunities.
  • Create service blueprints, prototypes, and design artefacts to communicate ideas effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with GDS Service Standards and accessibility guidelines.
  • Advocate for user needs and champion service design best practices.
Essential Skills
  • Proven experience as a Service Designer in government or public sector projects.
  • Strong understanding of GDS principles and service design methodologies.
  • Ability to create service maps, blueprints, and prototypes.
