Service Charge Accountant - City of London - £47,000 - £52,000 Per Annum

My client are a well-established Surveying and Property Management company based in the City of London. They are currently seeking an experienced and professional Service Charge Accountant to join their small but tight knight team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of Service Charge year / quarterly-end accounts within the specified timeframe.
  • Calculate, bill, and reconcile service charge contributions to tenants and leaseholders, ensuring all income is recorded correctly.
  • Run reports as necessary to assist the Property Manager.
  • Responsibility for good all-round management of Clients' accounts
  • Dealing with customer queries verbally and in written form.
  • Take ownership of the implementation process of new properties taken on.
  • Undertake and review bank reconciliations within the required timeframe.
  • Issuing of monthly / quarterly income and expenditure statements to Clients.
  • Carrying out daily banking routine.
  • Participate in annual AGMs and quarterly directors' meetings
  • Handling queries from tenants and suppliers and all external agencies by telephone and in writing, in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.
  • Prepare proposed annual budgets for presentation to directors / freeholders and ongoing budgetary control.
