Qualifications

  • Proven track record in a service or maintenance engineering role, particularly responding to breakdown scenarios.

  • A full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair heating systems across a range of fuel types.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Carry out reactive repairs and servicing of appliances.
  • Issue safety certificates and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage stock replenishment and liaise with suppliers.
  • Participate in the on-call rota for emergency cover.

Job description

Become a key player in our team as a Service and Breakdown Engineer. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your engineering skills while maintaining operational efficiency. Locations: Multiple opportunities across East Anglia, working 40 hrs per week, Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair heating systems across a range of fuel types, including domestic gas, oil, and solid fuel, for domestic and social housing properties.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including Gas Safe and OFTEC standards.
  • Carry out reactive repairs, servicing of boilers, fires, and other appliances in line with manufacturer instructions and industry best practices.
  • Issue safety certificates and keep accurate records using electronic or manual systems.
  • Manage stock replenishment efficiently and liaise with approved suppliers.
  • Participate in the on‑call rota to provide 24/7 emergency cover across our property portfolio.
Minimum Essential Criteria:
