Overview

Service Advisor

Permanent • Full time (8:00am - 6:00pm - Monday to Friday and 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00 am to 12:30pm). Dependant on experience. Chippenham

Responsibilities
  • To assist with service telephone calls and walk-in enquiries on behalf of the dealership.
  • Meeting and greeting customers
  • Qualify service needs and diagnostic needs where appropriate.
  • Establish understanding and an agreement with the customer of the work to be carried out.
  • Updating customers on job updates
  • Calculate workshop capacity ensuring that all details are entered onto the service workshop loading system.
  • Manage any necessary liaison with department manager regarding customer dissatisfaction. Follow up in line with dealership procedures.
  • Understand and adhere to all brand service requirements.
  • Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the dealership.
  • Maintain product knowledge on the full franchise ranges.
  • Maintain relevant systems, ensuring accuracy at all times.
  • Accurately complete job cards, including any descriptions of faults reported by the customer.
