THE EMPLOYER IS: ELITE CONNECTED CEG LTDWe are seeking a Sensory Play Leader to deliver engaging sensory sessions for mothers and toddlers, coordinate inclusive birthday parties, and support one-to-one sessions for children and adults with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a newly created role designed to expand our inclusive, community-based services.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead sensory play classes for parents and toddlers, fostering connection, exploration, and early development.
  • Manage bookings, enquiries, and session logistics, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all families.
  • Design and deliver bespoke sensory birthday parties, including themes, activities, and accessibility considerations.
  • Collaborate with professionals (e.g., therapists, support workers) to deliver tailored one-to-one sensory sessions for individuals with SEN.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment, adapting activities to meet a range of sensory and developmental needs.
  • Support marketing and outreach efforts, including social media content and community engagement.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working with children and/or adults with SEN in educational, therapeutic, or community settings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and inclusive approach to families and individuals.
  • Creativity in designing play-based, sensory-rich experiences.
  • Excellent organisational skills and confidence managing bookings and event logistics.
  • Understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and inclusive practice.
  • Qualifications in early years, play work, SEN support, or related fields.
  • First aid training and/or Makaton, PECS, or other communication tools.
  • Experience with social media or community outreach.
