Overview

The key elements of your role will be to coordinate statistical returns relating to workforce, ensuring they are produced in a consistent and timely manner. You will lead the team on a day-to-day basis, supervise reporting requirements, identify training needs and support team development. You will analyse workforce and pay-related data from multiple sources to provide reports for clients such as Trust Groups, Committees and Boards, Sector/Acute Provider Collaborative Boards and Trust Managers. A key aspect is transforming raw data into valuable information to develop management reports that meet user needs. The Senior Workforce Analyst will lead the HR contribution to the Trust's workforce and operational plan.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate statistical returns relating to workforce, ensuring they are produced in a consistent, and timely manner.
  • Lead the team on a day-to-day basis, coordinating regular and ad-hoc reporting requirements, identifying training needs and supporting team development.
  • Critically analyse workforce and pay-related data from multiple sources to provide a range of reports for clients such as Trust Groups, Committees and Board, Sector/ Acute Provider Collaborative Boards and Trust Managers.
  • Transform raw data into valuable information by analysis, and develop management reports to meet user needs.
  • Lead the HR contribution to the Trust's workforce and operational plan.
  • Provide expertise, leadership and support on a variety of projects, as directed by the Senior HR Business Partner for Workforce or external stakeholders, to enhance HR Information Systems.
  • Have experience of working within healthcare with advanced practical knowledge of Workforce Information related to Electronic Staff Records (ESR).

The Workforce Information team works a hybrid pattern and are on site twice a week. We promote the wellbeing and safety of all our patients and carers by acting promptly on concerns and sharing information appropriately, according to our policy and procedures. All posts working with vulnerable groups will be subject to an enhanced criminal records check upon appointment, and staff will need to give consent for the Trust to receive regular updates on their criminal records status throughout employment.
