A leading digital studio in Bristol is searching for a Senior/Lead UX Researcher and Designer to create impactful user experiences across various sectors. This role involves guiding projects, leading workshops, and collaborating with stakeholders while designing user journeys and prototypes. You'll need strong UX and product design experience, excellent user research skills, and the ability to mentor others. The studio offers a competitive salary, health insurance, a discretionary bonus, and a flexible hybrid working environment.
We’re hiring a Senior/Lead UX Researcher and Designer on behalf of a digital studio that’s been creating creative, impactful experiences for over two decades. You’ll be joining a team of technologists, creatives and thinkers who believe great design should be both delightful and technically sound. They are looking for a T-shaped UX Specialist with strong experience carrying out qualitative and quantitative user research. This is a chance to work on meaningful products and services with clients across the charity, education, culture and heritage, and public sectors.
As Senior UX Designer and Researcher, you’ll guide projects from the first conversation through to final delivery. You’ll lead discovery phases, run workshops, and shape product direction through research and insight. You’ll collaborate with clients, stakeholders and teammates to balance creativity, usability and technical feasibility.
You’ll design user journeys, wireframes and prototypes based on user insights. You’ll be comfortable working across the User Experience Design process, using tools like Figma and Miro, and working closely with developers and strategists in agile environments. You’ll also mentor others, contribute to pitches, and help define how design connects to business goals and user outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone who’s curious, collaborative and confident in their craft — someone who enjoys solving complex problems and shaping human‑centred digital experiences.
This role offers a competitive, annually benchmarked salary, flexible hybrid working, and a generous benefits package. You’ll receive private health insurance, a discretionary annual bonus, and 21 days holiday. In addition, they offer a personal development budget, subsidised personal training, weekly yoga, and an annual company holiday.
If you’re a UX Designer or User Researcher looking to work on purposeful projects in a supportive, forward‑thinking environment, we’d love to hear from you. Apply with your CV and portfolio for more information.
