Job summary

A leading UK construction firm is seeking a Senior Planner to join their Transportation team for the TRU project in Shipley. The role involves developing delivery programmes, managing project documentation, and collaborating with various teams to ensure project success. Candidates should have experience in Civil Engineering projects and be familiar with planning software like P6 and Microsoft Project. A full driving licence is required for travel between locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in buildings, frameworks, structures, foundations, trusses, preferably in Rail.
• Full driving licence required for travel.
• Active experience in tendering and contract delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to develop and revise the civil delivery programme.
• Input into progress reporting and identify issues.
• Contribute to the risk register and undertake schedule risk analysis.
• Manage project documentation and communicate planning updates.
• Assist with design briefs for temporary works.

Skills

Experience on Civil Engineering and/or Construction projects

Knowledge of planning software (P6, Microsoft Project)

Understanding of NEC

Commercial and contractual understanding

Active planning techniques
