Qualifications

We are currently working with a consultancy who are looking to bring in Transport Planners from TP – Associate level. As part of their national transport planning and multidisciplinary teams—including civil engineering, landscape planning and design, and water and environmental management—we play a key role in shaping the built environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • As a Transport Planner with us, your day-to-day work will include:
  • Preparing technical reports such as Access Appraisals, Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and WCHARs, with support from colleagues.
  • Conducting junction capacity modelling and CAD design work.
  • Managing projects and assisting with financial aspects, including fee proposals and invoicing, with guidance from colleagues.
  • Mentoring junior team members.
  • Engaging with stakeholders, external project teams, and clients.
  • Representing at meetings, public consultations, and exhibitions.
  • Undertaking site visits.
  • Managing your own workload with support from the team.
What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience working on developments across sectors such as residential, commercial, and education.
  • A working knowledge of traffic modelling software (junction & strategic).
  • An understanding of strategic development sites and the plan-making process.
  • Experience liaising with stakeholders.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • The Right to Work in the UK (Unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future).
