A local NHS hospital is seeking a Senior Therapy Assistant to work alongside Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists. Responsibilities include delivering patient care, assisting in therapy treatment, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. Working alongside the Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists you will be responsible for progressing patients mobility as well as undertaking exercises programmes and occupational therapy specific treatment programmes.

The role involves working across the acute in patient wards at Basildon Hospital and within the Critical Care unit.
Working alongside therapy staff you will liaise with the multi-disciplinary team attending board rounds and independently undertake the therapy treatment of appropriate patients as decided by the therapists on the wards.
