This role involves coordination among architects and engineers, ensuring compliance and providing support to site teams. Senior Technical Coordinator - West London

One of the UK's largest residential developers, recognised for the contribution to the social housing sector, is seeking a Senior Technical Coordinator to be a combination of office and site-based working on a major regeneration mixed‑use scheme in the heart of West London. This scheme comprises primarily RC framed apartments.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate design information across architects, engineers and consultants.
  • Ensure drawings are compliant, coordinated and buildable.
  • Support planning submissions and discharge technical conditions.
  • Manage Building Control, warranty provider and regulatory approvals.
  • Provide technical support to site teams and resolve design queries.
  • Review subcontractor designs and assist procurement.
  • Maintain design programmes, drawing registers and information flow.
  • Identify technical risks and drive quality standards.

Applicants must have previous experience working on the delivery of residential projects and possess up‑to‑date knowledge of UK building regulations. The most suitable individuals will be Technical Coordinators working for other developers or Design Coordinators working for contractors looking to take the next step, where progression is readily available. Confident architectural technicians or job‑running architects seeking to make the transition will also be considered, provided they have worked on residential schemes for developers.
