Overview

You will be the primary contact for reviewing documentation and making improvements as needed. There is not much red tape, allowing you to mould the role around your abilities.

This company designs and manufactures bleeding-edge technology, which involves a mixture of electro-mechanical systems, software and hardware elements. Therefore, you will need to come from a high-tech engineering background.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead the technical publications function within a high-tech engineering company with a global presence. The company's technical manuals have been in use for over 20 years and hold a strong legacy worldwide.

As the leader of this function, you\'ll have the chance to modernise and reshape documentation processes, ensuring they continue to meet the evolving needs of engineers and customers.

While 80% of manuals are already in place, your expertise will be instrumental in problem-solving, process improvement, and driving efficiency across the business. You\'ll work closely with engineers and senior leaders to enhance content quality and create a lasting impact on a large, innovative organisation.

Leadership experience is not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided. What is essential, however, is a personable demeanour and the charisma to drive new ideas forward.
