Job description

Brewer Morris are partnering with a UK International Group searching for Senior Tax Accountant to join the tax team in London.

This organisation has enjoyed a successful growth journey over the past two decades, and continues to grow. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for both UK and international tax matters with the guidance of the Group Tax Manager.

Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Calculate the current and deferred tax figures for year-end group reporting, including tax notes to the accounts.
  • Calculate quarterly tax figures for the Group, including full year forecast ETR and cash tax paid.
  • Prepare tax figures and disclosures for statutory accounts of UK and Hong Kong group companies
  • Build, manage and maintain tax reporting Excel spreadsheets and processes compatible with Longview tax reporting software.
  • Assist with managing the Group’s global tax compliance engagement with a third-party service provider.
  • Support with fulfilling the Group’s Pillar Two compliance obligations.
  • Assist with Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) and Corporate Criminal Offence (CCO) requirements
  • Assist with tax planning projects.

To be considered for this position, you should be ACCA, ACA or CTA qualified with corporate tax and tax accounting experience. This role is open to both in-house professionals and candidates from a Big 4/Top 20 firm background. The Group Tax Manager is looking for someone who is proactive, willing to take the lead on projects, and able to communicate effectively.

Unfortunately, this position does not offer visa sponsorship.

This opportunity will pay £70,000-£80,000 plus 10% bonus and benefits. The team follow a hybrid of 3 days in the central London office.
