Qualifications

• Be qualified to degree level, or equivalent, in Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
• Be a member of a relevant professional body, working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) level.

Responsibilities

• Apply Systems Thinking to complex system challenges.
• Manage stakeholder requirements elicitation, analysis, and management.
• Develop systems engineering artefacts to satisfy stakeholder needs.
• Understand and apply strategies around system development.
• Identify system emergent properties and manage risks.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for effective engagement.
• Mentor and support junior Engineers.

Experience of V-model or full product lifecycle

Systems Engineering experience

Experience of Model based Systems Engineering

Awareness of marine/ship systems

Education
