This is a home care position where you will assess new clients, complete care plans and risk assessments, and enter their care plans into the system.

Responsibilities

• Mentor new staff and liaise with the manager to pass them out.
• Carry out home care spot checks and hold run meetings with staff.
• Monitor medication compliance.
• Monitor risk to pressure sores, malnutrition, and changes to level of independence.
• Observe and hand over new workers.
• Manage rota and staff in the field.
• Act as point of contact for problems and queries.
• Review staff documentation, medication practices, and incidents to ensure accuracy and robustness.
• Keep track of what is working well and audit standards of practice.
• Support the line manager by holding meetings with staff as assigned.
• Monitor staff visits on the live system and follow up missed or incomplete tasks.
• Contribute to management meetings and produce quality reports, including safeguarding.
• Be on call and support staff.
• Show readiness to take on senior roles.
