Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join a dynamic office in Chorley. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in structural design, proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software, and strong report writing skills. Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Structural Engineers to join a dynamic office based in Chorley.

This role will suit candidates who have a strong background (minimum three years) in structural design within the UK market, particularly across residential and commercial buildings.

Essential Requirements
  • A minimum of three years' UK experience in structural design encompassing steelwork, reinforced concrete and masonry construction under Eurocodes.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Masterseries and TEDDS design software.
  • Experience producing detailed structural calculations and sketches.
  • Capability in preparing construction drawings and specifications.
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of costing, budgets and quotations.
  • Demonstrated report writing ability.
  • Willingness to conduct site visits to verify construction runs in compliance with drawings.
Desirable Attributes
  • Familiarity with STAAD.Pro, SCIA and Revit software.
  • Project management and leadership skills.
  • Aiming toward or already nearing Chartered Engineer status.
