Senior Structural Engineer – Bristol | £42,000 - £50,000 + Hybrid + Private Healthcare + Bonus + Support with Chartership

We are currently supporting one of our biggest clients as we seek a Senior Structural Engineer to join a busy and growing team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within one of the UK's leading private engineering consultancies, working on a diverse range of projects across the commercial, retail, and residential sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Take technical lead on a variety of projects, both large and small.
  • Work closely with design teams to deliver coordinated solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Carry out structural engineering assessments and inspections of both new and existing buildings in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
  • Undertake analysis and design using software packages such as Tekla Structural Designer and Fastrak Building Designer.
  • Maintain quality and consistency across technical outputs including drawings, calculations, and reports.
  • Prepare high-quality structural surveys and technical reports.
About You
  • Degree qualified in Structural Engineering (BEng/MEng or equivalent).
  • Chartered or working towards Chartered status (MICE or MIStructE).
  • Broad experience across a range of building types and construction materials.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of Eurocodes.
  • Strong report writing, numerical, and communication skills.
  • Competent user of structural analysis and design software.
  • Previous experience in a similar consultancy role.
  • Full UK driving licence.
