Overview

My client, an Engineering company based in Pershore is looking to recruit a Senior Stores Manager with an Engineering background on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Manage Goods-in, Raw Material Warehousing, recording of stores issues, supporting inventory control as well as material replenishment
• Ensure Health and Safety are adhered to at all times
• Be responsible for stores area
• Work closely with Procurement Team to ensure stock levels are correct
• Take responsibility for cost control of stock
• Work closely with quality control team to ensure goods inward are checked prior to booking in
• Supervise Waste Disposal on-site
• Ensure stores team are suitably trained in terms of H & S and Cyber Security
• Ensure storage of dangerous substances/materials is compliant with appropriate guidance

Candidate requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role within Engineering ideally with knowledge of metals
• Counterbalance FLT License
• Experience of ERP/MRP systems
• Ability to understand BOM's and Kitting lists
• Experience of defense, Rail or Automotive standards

Salary

The salary on offer is up to £40,000
