Senior Staff Nurse - Paediatric Neuro-rehab & Complex Care

Location: The Portland Hospital for Women & Children
Full time: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Monday-Sunday (long days, nights & weekends)

Responsibilities

• Support and mentor junior nurses, providing guidance from in-depth clinical knowledge.
• Lead the unit in the absence of the Sister/Charge nurse.
• Implement and evaluate holistic care plans for children in partnership with the multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in audits or quality improvement projects to continually improve care.
• Contribute to the smooth operation of the Paediatric Neurorehabilitation and Complex Care Inpatient Ward.
