A prominent health organization in Manchester seeks a Senior Specialist Dietitian for their newly created Gynae Oncology team. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dietitian with interest in Gynae Oncology to join our team. This newly created, full‑time, permanent position sits alongside a large Gynae Oncology Surgical Centre.
If you have expertise in complex nutrition support, gastrointestinal surgery, weight management, and you enjoy driving service development, this role could be ideal for you.
As this is a newly established dietetic service, you will have significant opportunities for innovation and multidisciplinary team working and development. You will collaborate closely with a large group of Gynae Consultants and Specialist Nurses, participate in ward rounds, MDT clinics, and research.
You will receive support from myself as Clinical Team Lead and join a team of eleven Senior Specialist Dietitians working together to strengthen our cohesive adult dietetic team.

The role will involve delivering dietetic care throughout the Gynaecology Cancer pathway, supporting both inpatients and outpatients. You will work with patients diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer who undergo bowel resections and have a high incidence of severe malnutrition and sarcopenia. Additionally, you will provide care for patients with endometrial cancer, many of whom experience obesity and comorbidities that influence treatment options.

You will be encouraged and supported to attend relevant national courses and conferences, contribute to research, and play an active role in further developing the Gynae Oncology dietetic service.
