A private members club in Clapham Junction is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to support kitchen leadership, design menus, and ensure high culinary standards. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in quality-led kitchens, a passion for fresh ingredients, and the ability to create a positive team environment. This role involves diverse shifts and offers an opportunity to lead a kitchen team in a dynamic setting, creating beautiful dishes for members and corporate events.
The Arding Rooms is our newest private members club, located within the beautifully restored Arding & Hobbs building in the heart of Clapham Junction. A thoughtful blend of Art Deco eccentricity with a modern, creative spirit, we have created a space where high end hospitality meets community, comfort and style.
Our members have access to our stunning all day dining restaurant (think elevated bistro), incredible roof terrace and a beautiful dedicated event space.
Menus are seasonal, local, and simple, with an ethical, ingredient-led approach. From relaxed weekday lunches, to lively weekend brunches, we offer our members food that feels honest, beautiful, and bursting with flavour.
Alongside the main restaurant, we host a range of corporate and social events for our members and external clients, and the kitchen team work closely with the Events Manager to provide bespoke catering packages for these events.
We are now looking for an accomplished and ambitious Senior Sous Chef to join our team on a permanent basis.
This is a 7 day operation with a range of daytime, evening and weekend shifts.
