The company designs and manufactures large-scale engineering products and are at the forefront of their industry with a focus on renewable technology. Working in a dynamic R&D team this role will play a pivotal role in the development of new products and will support the strategy and overall business objectives to deliver carbon neutral products.

Responsibilities

• Leading on all product software integration to ensure functionality excellence
• Identifying, developing and initiating integration improvements
• Manage software tests to ensure functionality and to gauge areas of improvement
• Produce technical proposals to enhance the product proposition
• Managing external suppliers and programmers

Qualifications

• Previous integration of software engineering experience within a mechanical engineering environment
• A relevant engineering degree or equivalent
• Experience of working in a manufacturing technical engineering environment
• The ability to manage internal and external processes and people
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team
