A leading care provider is seeking a Team Leader to support adults with learning disabilities in a residential setting. The role involves supervising care workers, ensuring quality care, and enhancing residents' life experiences through daily activities. Hours: 36 per week. Salary: £12.90 to £13.10 per hour (a higher range is offered to applicants with qualifications in health and social care). The role of the Team Leader is to provide support and guidance to a team of social care workers, whilst ensuring the highest level of care and leading by example. You will liaise with the seniors in the home and report any matters of concern. You must have experience in the care sector and the willingness to learn and expand on your previous knowledge. This role offers the chance to contribute to people’s lives while enjoying activities and outings, helping to keep residents safe, happy and fulfilled.

Appletrees is a large, detached country house supporting up to eight adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities and associated complex needs. The property is set in open countryside in the village of Upper Bucklebury, six miles from Newbury town centre. Appletrees has a lively environment with a Day Activities Centre (Treetops) for educational support, arts and crafts and sensory activities. The home has two vehicles for local travel. Regular meals out, monthly club nights and weekly music are part of the routine.
