Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Site Engineer for a major highways project in Suffolk. Carrington West is working with a highway contractor to recruit Senior Site Engineers to focus on delivering major highway projects in the region.

Works will be carried out with a mix of day and night shifts, covering all aspects of highways site engineering.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the project team to ensure the project is delivered to a high quality and on time
• Offer guidance and direction to more junior members of the team
• Set out roads, drainage etc.
• Keep daily records of site activities

Qualifications and Requirements

• A degree, bachelor's, MSc or HND in Civil Engineering
• Knowledge and experience of highways standards and procedures
• Knowledge and experience of high‑speed road projects and setting out engineering
• Experience working for a major highway contractor
• CSCS qualification, SMSMTS, National Highways Passport and EUSR 1 & 2
