Job summary

Immunocore is seeking a Senior Scientist I to advance characterisation of biotherapeutics in a CMC setting. The role focuses on peptide mapping (LC-MS/MS), intact mass analysis, and comprehensive protein characterisation across microbial and mammalian expression systems.

The candidate will contribute to impurity analysis, process development support, and the development of analytical methods for ImmTAX and related products, while guiding experiments and communicating findings to teams and

Qualifications

Experience in development of HPLC based peptide mapping methods and mass spectrometric characterisation of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
Experience of glycosylation analysis of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
Independently coordinated extensive testing of protein biomolecules.
Experienced in the characterisation of proteins expressed in both microbial and mammalian systems.

Responsibilities

Characterise biotherapeutics using LC-MS/MS peptide mapping and intact mass analysis.
Support impurity characterisation and identification for Drug Substance/Product.
Develop and apply characterisation methods for ImmTAX and other products.
Lead biochemical characterisation, stability and comparability studies of biologics.
