Immunocore is seeking a Senior Scientist I to advance characterisation methods for biopharmaceutical products, including peptide mapping (LC-MS/MS) and intact mass analysis. The role includes impurity analysis, method development, and collaboration across teams to drive process development and assay advancement.

• Experience in development of HPLC based peptide mapping methods.
• Experience with mass spectrometric characterisation of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Glycosylation analysis of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Independently coordinated extensive testing of protein biomolecules.
• Characterisation of proteins expressed in microbial and mammalian systems.
• Understanding of expected post-translational modifications in biological systems.
• Bench-based biopharmaceutical laboratory experience.
• Expert in electrophoretic, chromatographic or mass spectrometry techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Characterise biopharmaceutical products using peptide mapping (LC-MS/MS) and intact mass analysis.
• Support impurity characterisation and identification for drug substances and products.
• Develop and apply characterisation methods for ImmTAX and related products.
• Lead biochemical characterisation, stability and comparability studies.
• Write study protocols and reports; present findings to teams and partners.
