Immunocore is seeking a Senior Scientist I to characterise biologics, develop peptide mapping and mass spectrometry methods, and support impurity and stability studies. The role requires hands-on bench work in a biopharmaceutical lab and collaboration across teams to advance ImmTAX products.

Formación

• Essential: experience in development of HPLC based peptide mapping methods and mass spectrometric characterisation of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Essential: glycosylation analysis of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Independently coordinated extensive testing of protein biomolecules.
• Characterisation of proteins expressed in microbial and mammalian systems.
• Understanding of expected post-translational modifications in biological systems.
• Bench-based biopharmaceutical laboratory experience.
• Expert in electrophoretic, chromatographic or mass spectrometry.
• Experience in assay development and stability study principles.

Responsabilidades

• Characterise companies biotherapeutic products using peptide mapping (LC-MS/MS) and intact mass spectrometry.
• Support impurity characterisation of drug substance and product.
• Identify sequence and post-translational modifications.
• Develop characterisation methods for ImmTAX and other products.
• Perform biochemical characterisation and stability/comparability studies.
