Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Senior Scientist with a strong background in nuclear chemistry and materials science. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, nuclear processes, research, and mentoring, within the nuclear industry. This role requires a strong understanding of nuclear processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with engineering and client teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and Development: Lead and execute research projects focused on improving the efficiency and safety of nuclear processes.
• Project Management: Manage project portfolios, adhering to budgets and deadlines. This includes planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Teaching and Mentoring: Deliver training and mentorship to engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, university partners and regulatory bodies.
• Communication: Communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Safety: Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations within a nuclear environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Nuclear Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
