Senior Sales Manager – Aerospace & Defence

Location : Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Salary : Up to £70,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Summary :

We’re working with a leading advanced engineering and manufacturing business that’s expanding its presence within the aerospace and defence sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead new business development, strengthen key customer relationships, and drive growth across high-value programmes in composites, additive manufacturing and precision engineering.

The Role :

Develop and deliver the aerospace and defence sales strategy to achieve company growth targets.

Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities with OEMs, primes and tier-one suppliers.

Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through to contract negotiation and closure.

Collaborate with internal engineering teams to develop competitive proposals and technical bids.

Represent the business at key industry events, customer meetings and trade shows.

About You :

Proven sales experience within the aerospace, defence or advanced manufacturing sectors.

Strong commercial acumen and ability to negotiate complex contracts.
