Overview

As our Sales and Business Development Manager, you will support, manage, and drive sales and growth of the full Roxspur product portfolio.

You will support our customers in the selection and application of our comprehensive range of temperature, pressure and flow products, as well as our calibration services.

Ambitious and results orientated, you will drive the business development and growth, and provide valuable feedback to support the design and development of new products.

Core Requirements
  • Analyse market trends and customer needs, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Build and nurture relationships with existing customers to drive long-term partnerships.
  • Support the internal sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations to close deals.
  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies, preparing accurate and timely reports on sales activities, forecasts, and progress for senior management.
  • Ensure on-time customer delivery of all information, including samples and supporting design and product verification activities.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, internal sales, Quality, and the engineering teams to ensure products align with client needs.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Broad knowledge of process instrumentation (inc. temperature, pressure, flow sensors, UKAS Calibration services).
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience in selling in multiple markets (incl. Industrial, Manufacturing and Aerospace).
  • Strong organisational, multi-tasking and time-management skills.
  • Able to demonstrate strong leadership, analytical, influencing, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, but equally prepared to work in isolation.
  • You will be able to demonstrate how you develop strong relationships with both internal and external customers based on a commitment to always offering the best service.

Remote and Travel

This role may be completed remotely, or from any of our regional locations, with a requirement to attend our Sheffield site on a regular basis.

Travel is required approximately 50% of the time with some overnight stays.
