Senior Sales AssociateBased: Edinburgh

We are delighted to be supporting a leading global watch and fashion accessories brand in the search for a Senior Sales Advisor (Key Holder). This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate retail professional to step into a role with added responsibility, combining customer service excellence with team leadership and store operations.

As Senior Sales Advisor, you will play a vital role on the shop floor, ensuring every customer enjoys a first-class experience while also supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager with day-to-day operations. With responsibility for key holder duties, you'll act as a role model to your colleagues, driving sales, coaching team members, and ensuring the store runs smoothly in management's absence.

What you'll do
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, greeting and serving all customers with energy and professionalism.
  • Lead by example on the shop floor, coaching and motivating colleagues to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Take responsibility for key holder duties, including opening and closing the store.
  • Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in overseeing daily operations, reporting, and floor management.
  • Use initiative to suggest improvements and ensure best practice is followed at all times.
  • Provide in-depth product knowledge and confidently train colleagues on new collections.
  • Oversee merchandising, stock handling, and security procedures to protect store assets.
  • Deputise for management, holding team briefings and ensuring smooth operations during their absence.
What we're looking for
  • A passion for retail, with the ability to inspire and engage a team.
  • Previous supervisory or key holder experience (retail or fashion accessories background desirable).
  • A strong sales focus with proven ability to meet KPIs and targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, confident working with a diverse customer base.
  • Additional languages or experience with international customers would be an advantage.
