Qualifications

• Engineering background with experience in safety and environmental assessment/management processes.
• Experience using Claims/Arguments/Evidence techniques for safety and environmental arguments.
• Awareness or experience of techniques such as SWIFT, HazOp, and FME(C)A.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and environmental engineering support across design, build, launch, and trials.
• Provide input on non-conformances and design changes.
• Develop and maintain hazard logs and attend hazard identification meetings.
• Author technical documentation such as Ship System Safety & Environmental Case Reports.
• Support colleagues in developing safety and environmental assessments.
