Working Hours: Permanent Full Time

Pay: £50 per sleep-in

Service: Children's Home

Service Users: YPs – EBD, Trauma, Neglect, CSE, CCE, PSB

Qualifications Required: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce

Experience: Minimum 2 years residential childcare experience

Employment Type: Permanent

Eligibility Criteria – Do Not Apply If
  • You do not hold a full UK driving licence and do not have a car.
  • You only hold a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification – this is not deemed equivalent.
  • You have only HealthCare NHS CQC or Nursery Practitioner experience.
  • You require sponsorship – no sponsorship available.
  • Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children's Home will not be considered.

Your Responsibilities
  • Build positive trusting relationships with young people
  • Safeguard and support them at all times
  • Provide structure, routine and emotional guidance
  • Lead shifts, supervise staff, manage rotas and ensure placement plans are followed
  • Support education and deliver life skills opportunities
  • Serve as a positive role model and guide for residential workers
What You Must Have
  • Be 22 years old – Ofsted requirement
  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 CYPW
  • Have 2 years experience in residential childcare
  • Hold a valid manual driving licence
